Bye Bye Esperance

4 Dec

We left Esperance today and drove all the way back to Albany. Because of a storm warning and because the whale watching season finished today (grrr, I can’t believe I missed that!) we head north to Freemantle tomorrow. We need a relaxing day before flying to Alice Springs for some serious hiking and camping.

I must say, I’m a bit scared now – I don’t know what I had been thinking when I booked that… Five days in the bush… Sleeping in swags under the stars, no proper toilet, average temperatures of 35 degrees, tons of flies, and lots of walking, of couse. I fear it’s going to be a ‘Höllloch’ kind of experience… 🙂

    Liebe Anita
