Today we had an oil spill drill at the dolphin centre and one of the ladies from the council had two big laundry baskets with her. Inside were two little joeys that she’s bringing up because the mothers had ended up as roadkill… Aren’t they just super cute?
PS: They are about nine months old, can hop around on rather shaky legs and definitely don’t like to be out of the velvet bag that substitutes as the mother’s pouch. They need to be bottle- fed every four hours and smell of deer. I wish I could keep one!
